Orange Shirt Brick Stitch Pattern

This pattern is inspired by Orange Shirt Day and the message that Every Child Matters. It is a day to honour the survivors of residential schools and to remember the children who never came home.

This design is also personal to me and to honor my grandma, June Clause, who attended the Mohawk Institute Residential School, known as the “Mush Hole.” This pattern is a small way to honour her story and the resilience of all survivors.

🧡 If you create this piece, consider wearing it or sharing it on Orange Shirt Day to help keep the message alive.
